In the fall of 2025, I served as Art Director for a pop-up restaurant in Zurich, Switzerland, where a traditional space was reimagined through a contemporary lens. I developed the visual concept across the interior and florals, aiming to bridge youth and tradition while honoring the harvest season. The design embraced a bright, modern sensibility through monochromatic elements, allowing texture and composition to take precedence. Food and florals were treated as equal design components, existing in playful dialogue throughout the space.
The visual language extended throughout the experience, with original paintings integrated into the space and a custom graphic identity appearing across menus and branded t-shirts. This cohesive approach reflected the chefs’ own emphasis on visual storytelling, craftsmanship, and playfulness within their cuisine.
